Description

Accurate verification of safety level 4 of the “Ponte Del Castagno” according to ministerial guidelines. The activity was carried out in three phases: in the first phase, the historical critical and framing analysis of the structure was conducted, the specifications of structural and geological investigations were drafted, and the survey of the structure was carried out using laser scanner and APR tools. In the second phase, having acquired the results of the appropriately supervised investigations, the calculation of the existing structure was carried out through the use of FEM software, and special static load tests and dynamic tests were prepared to calibrate the calculation model. In the third phase, the final report was prepared, downstream of the conducted load tests, in which the deficiencies of the structure were highlighted, the final transitability certificate of the structure was prepared, and targeted strengthening interventions were proposed.
