Sede ANPAS Regione Marche – Falconara Marittima (AN) – Design and Construction Supervision

Definition of seismic vulnerability and subsequent seismic retrofitting of the precast reinforced concrete building that will host the new headquarters of ANPAS in the Marche Region. The activity was divided into two phases: in the first phase, structural and geotechnical investigations were carried out to determine the level of safety and identify the structural deficiencies of the building in its current state. In the second phase, the necessary structural interventions were implemented to address the identified deficiencies. Specifically, these included the integration of columns with the industrial flooring, the demolition of the heavy suspended ceiling, the reinforcement of columns using CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) systems, the installation of anti-sliding devices for the beams, and anti-overturning measures for the cladding panels.
